Requesting Services

The process consists of four steps:

1. Site Evaluation
2. Photographic Flight
3. Reviewing Proofs
4. Purchasing Proofs

Step 1 - Site Evaluation

We start with an onsite visit with you, the client, to define the photographic location and to identify the attributes of the photograph you are seeking. If necessary, the site will be recorded as a Global Positioning System (GPS) waypoint for later use in aerial navigation. The orientation of a building may be recorded to determine optimum times to take the photographs. Potential obstructions or conflicts with an aerial photographic flight will be identified. The optimum photograph position and associated flight information will be determined.

The distance from the Aiken Municipal Airport will be established and used to provide you with a firm estimate of the cost of the photographic flight. This estimate will include the full price of the photographic flight. If your schedule is flexible, it may be possible to combine photographic flights enabling sharing of the aircraft and photographic expenses resulting in a decreased cost.

You will have a chance to view a portfolio showing typical digital aerial photographs made by Aiken Aerial Photography, LLC. An explanation of the photographic file purchase options and limited rights agreement will be provided at this time.

The minimum charge for a site evaluation is $50.00

Step 2 - Photographic Flight

Upon completion of the site evaluation and a signed agreement for our services, you will be requested to pay 50% of the estimated cost as a down payment. The photographic flight will be scheduled within the following seven days (dependent upon weather and other potential flight restrictions).

Step 3 - Reviewing Proofs

A minimum of 10 (ten) aerial photographic proofs will be taken for your review. These photographs will be provided to you via your preferred delivery method - email or CD via U.S. Postal Service, FedEx, or UPS. The proofs will be watermarked by Aiken Aerial Photography, LLC. At this time, you will be reviewing the proofs to determine which file(s) you want to purchase.

Please note: No proofs will be provided for review unless your payment of the 50% of the estimated cost has been received.

Step 4 - Purchasing Proofs

After you have reviewed your proofs and decided which photographs you wish to purchase, Aiken Aerial Photography, LLC will provide full-size, non-watermarked versions of the images you have selected via your preferred delivery method.

Full payment for the photography session, plus any additional editing or printing fees must be received before the non-watermarked photographic files are delivered. Payment may be made via check or money order to Aiken Aerial Photography, LLC via the the U.S. Postal Service. Please allow seven days (7) after receipt of payment for delivery of your images.
