Aiken Aerial Photography Owner John Owen

Aiken Aerial Photography, LLC was founded by John Owen, who has been enjoying the scenic beauty of South Carolina from the air for over 30 years. In 2005, John decided to start a business that combines two of the things that he likes to do: fly and take photographs.

John has been flying single-engine aircraft as a Private Pilot since 1974, and as a Commercial Pilot since 1991. In 1992, he obtained a Multi-Engine Commercial Rating with Instrument privileges.

The aircraft used for the business is a Cessna 182Q Skylane II, which is based at Aiken Municipal Airport. Photography missions are fully insured and meet all local, state, and federal regulations.
